Earlier this month, I featured a photo of the Welcome to Stayton sign on Fern Ridge Rd. Today, for your viewing pleasure, is the Welcome to Stayton sign on 1st. Ave leading into town from the south.

This one featuring a wheel and what is apparently a red barn. To me, the barn looks like it has large red teeth, as you can see from the photo at right (click on it to see a bigger version). A barn with bite -- I like it.

There are other similar welcome signs, lest anyone forget where they are when they're here. They lend a friendly greeting to newcomers, and I think they're pretty nifty.
