Holding up the clouds

Holding Up The Clouds - a manlift with a cloudy backdrop in Stayton Oregon

As I was going through the parking lot by an agriculture-oriented store, I spotted the above. The manlift in the photo looks like it was placed there to make sure the clouds don't fall. They did, anyway, in the form of a bit of rain, which made the plants in my yard happy. And if they're happy, I'm happy... especially since I've kind of been forgetting to water them.

Awesome, it really does look like the crane is holding up the sky. You have a good way of looking at ordinary things and realizing they really aren't so ordinary. Most of us miss those things.

Carla,

Thank you. :) A lot of the time it's a matter of luck -- I take a lot of photos, and sometimes part of them are less sucky than the others. Doing this daily photo blog has really helped me look at things in a new way.

Thanks for taking the time to comment... your words are definitely appreciated.
