Douglas-Fir Trees
Since I've featured so many photos as of late of trees losing their leaves, I thought I'd show some trees which are all over the place here in Oregon, and are always green, in the sense they're evergreens. Funny, that.
Despite having 'fir' in the name, they aren't technically fir trees. But let's not get picky. I think they're beautiful. And tall. Very, very tall. They're my favorite type of tree to get as a Christmas tree.
The trees in the photo are in a residential neighborhood in Stayton, in the yards of a couple of homes.
