Oak after sunset

Oak After Sunset - in Stayton Oregon

I've previously professed my love for a couple of oak trees on Pine St. in Stayton. Above is one of those trees silhouetted by the late evening sky. It's still pretty, even when in shadow. Sometimes I get the urge to climb up in it, sit on a branch, and swing my legs back and forth like a little kid.

But then I remember I'm not a little kid, and I was never good at climbing trees, anyway, so I think I'll stay on the ground. I'm sure the people whose property the tree is on would agree.
