Big, Round, & Yellow
This giant yellow donut, which sits just off of 1st Ave. in Stayton, advertises a local donut shop called Starlight Donuts. No, the donuts for sale in the shop are not yellow like their sign. Although, come to think of it... I'm sure some do have lemon filling. But, still, not quite the same thing.
Now I'm hungry for a donut. Or two or three. I hear a maple bar calling my name...

Anon, I haven't been to the donut shop in years, under either name. Since they're open in the morning/early afternoon -- and I'm definitely not a morning person -- it's always closed when I go by.
I like both names, though.
When it was daylight they used to open up at midnight and you could go in there during there late at night and get the donuts pretty much as soon as they made them. They were unbelievably delicious. That was about 3 or 4 years ago, i dont think starlight does that, but maybe they do still.
