DP Theme Day: A Photo from the Waist Down

A photo of men's legs in Stayton Oregon

This month's theme day was an interesting one -- to photograph someone from the waist down. I didn't end up taking my photo until two days ago, since I was having trouble finding an appropriate subject.

Think you can guess who the two men in my photo are doing? It shouldn't be difficult -- the red color should be a big clue. The first person to guess gets a postcard of the Stayton-Jordan Bridge from good ol' Stayton, Oregon. Then you can tell all your friends you received a post from some place you likely couldn't find on a map. ;)

I'll post the full photo tomorrow.

Several Daily Photo sites are participating in the 1st December theme, "A Photograph from the Waist Down." Please use the links to below to visit them.

Due to time zone differences and other factors, the theme photo may not be displayed until later if you are viewing early in the day.

IPerhaps an activity related to AIDS week?

I was going to say mailmen, but I don't think the US uses the colour red for the mail?

Eye-catching. I think these red things are protective and they're medical practitioners trying out some sort of new portable x-ray device. lol!

I know what they are! I know! I know! They are part of a standby traffic light team for when there is a power cut.

I think Salvation Army is a good guess, although I don't think I would have come up with it.

I would say that they are Salvation Army bell-ringers. Great shot, too. The red really draw the eye.
