DP Theme Day: Something About To Disappear

The public library in Stayton is undergoing construction at the moment. Soon, the fences, construction equipment, etc., shown in the photo above (more or less -- the fence blocked most of the view) will disappear and in its place will be a bigger and better library. I can't wait.

That's great! A positive view of somethign changing.
Just a tiny question...do people still go to a library? LOL Great choice.
Thanks, Sally. :)
Eric, around here they do. It makes me quite happy to see people coming out of the library with stacks of books in their hands... especially children.
Thanks for the comments.
excellent, money spent on a library! How terrific. Thanks for the post!
A super "before" shot. When the library has it's grand opening, I hope you'll share a photo of it with us.

You are lucky to have money spent on a new library! Looking forward to seeing the finished building too!
Not all change is bad... .nice choice
Yes, Eric, many, many people go to our town's libraries. I'd be lost without one in our neighborhood. Many others though use local bookstores as their own personal library.
A new library would be a nice welcome. Excellent.
A new, bigger library - what's not to like about that! Eric, I go to the library all the time.
Glad to see money is being put into something importat, like a library!
How exciting. A brand new library!
