Early Morning Fog

Early Morning Fog in Stayton Oregon

Yesterday morning was thick with fog, so I toddled outside to take a few photos of it just before sunrise. I'm anything but a morning person, so in my sleep deprived state most of the photos came out blurry. The one above is the sole survivor of my excursion.

That excursion, incidentally, took me as far as my backyard, because it was darned cold. The above is the tip of a barren branch from a mountain ash, and the tree in the background is a Douglas-fir.

Fog? In Oregon? How unusual ;-)))

Lovely (eerie in a good way) photo, Celine.

btw - thanks for visiting my DP blog and your kind comment (comming from a photographer it means a lot.)

That branch looks lonely! Living in Albuquerque fog is rare. Awesome photo!

You are SO BRAVE, venturing out like that.
I loathe mornings so I am totally serious about that. I would have been inside with my coffee!
Great job, Celine. Always wonderful perspective.
