Rays of light

Stayton has moved firmly into autumn. Days of clouds and rain are more frequent than sunny days. It makes me appreciate the sunny days more.
The photo above shows the gate door at the back part of the carport attached to my house, with sunlight streaming in through the spaces between the boards. The sun also cast two small rainbows on the cement of the carport's floor, but my photos of those didn't come out. The smoke you see in the photo is from the engine of my scooter.

Beautiful and dramatic light... What is behind the door? The morning sun or the flying saucer of Close Encounters...
I like this shot. It has a very etherial look to it.
Wow, this is a really incredible shot.
The light streaming in really is awesome, and I had the same reacton as Pierre -- is there something supernatural or extraterrestrial back there?
Nicely done.
Supernatural? Well, it leads to my overgrown backyard, which is something of a monster. Does that count? ;)
Thanks for the comments, everyone.
I've been following your photos ..you are an artist!
Kris, thank you. Your kind words mean a lot to me.
