Round roof

Round roof and chimney of the Stayton Grade School in Stayton Oregon

The elementary school in Stayton is a long building. I say this because I've tried to photograph the front of it before, but it's just too darned long. Plus there's a fence in front of it, which blocks most of the view.

So I took a picture of the roof instead. Part of the roof, anyway. I don't know if the round roof in the photo is of the cafeteria or the gymnasium. Or it could be something else entirely. I haven't been inside the school in many years, so my recollection is somewhat fuzzy.

But I'm fairly certain the chimney belongs to the cafeteria. I think. Unless they use it to burn stinky gym clothes. ;)

Good composition. You didn't need to capture the entire building. This shot is much more interesting. IMHO

I really like the lighting in this shot. It is really cool that the elemetary school has such an interesting design. I wonder if the students can appreciate it?
