I’ve posted photos of Rumours Restaurant & Lounge on 3rd Ave. before, but I was in the area a couple of nights ago, so I’m doing it again. I love the lighted signs on this place.

I took this a few nights ago in the parking lot of Santiam Hospital on 10th Ave. It was pretty foggy that night, and gave the scene kind of an old film noir effect.

Merry Christmas Eve, to all who celebrate the day. I spotted this lighted Christmas decoration along Ida St., and thought it would be fitting to post today.

This is adorable — someone actually put a boat in their front yard as part of their holiday display. Frosty the Snowman has a fishing pole and presents loaded in the boat. I love it. Makes me want to buy a boat so I can copy it. I spotted this just off of 3rd Ave.

Today’s photo is a somewhat random macro picture of a bit of fiber optic lights on one of my Christmas decorations. I like the pretty colors.

I’m not sure how I’m going to swing answering the door over and over with three dogs who are entirely too interested in barking whenever someone comes to the door, but I’ll More >

This is one of the outside walls at the Stayton Family Memorial Pool on W. Virginia St. The windows make me think of large, upside down punctuation. Once again, I am easily amused.

This wrought iron railing frames the entrance to Lone Oak Cemetery on the north end of 3rd Ave. I took the photo a handful of nights ago when it was rather foggy, which combined with the glow from the lights of a power sub-station in the distance behind the railing to create a nifty glow More >

The light patterns are sharp. I would be drawn to take this sort of photo.
