Deck the Fire Hall

Deck the Fire Hall

The Stayton Fire Department put up some wreaths and lights for the the holiday season. I think it looks spiffy.

Speaking of decorations, I bought a cute little four foot tall Christmas tree today. We usually get a much bigger one, but I don't have any place to put it at the moment. Once I brought the new tree home, I realized I don't really have any place to put that one, either. I'm sure I'll squeeze it in somewhere.

Yes, it does look spiffy. Colourful paint job. Is it my computer is it not a true red--more bluish/purplish??

The fire station looks a bit Christmasy even without the decorations. Its nice that they spiffed it up :) I don't think we have a spiffed fire station anywhere in Roseburg.

Kate, the original photo was blurry and washed out, so I improved the color saturation. It's still the same color, just enhanced. You can view the original photo here. It is red, but my tweaking did change the hue somewhat.

Faye, Stayton's great about decorating public buildings, telephone poles, etc. There's even a lighted star with an 's' in the middle of it on top of the water tower. I need to get a photo of it before the first of the year.
