'Tis The Season To Buy

This big, bushy holiday tree sits in the lobby of the Safeway grocery store. I wasn't sure if I should be amused or annoyed that the only decorations on it are lights and gift cards one can buy. Really, throw on a few candy canes or something, eh? Maybe a few bows?
Speaking of Christmas trees, I still don't have a place for mine, so it's presently sitting outside. I feel bad, what with it sitting out there all by itself and all. Hey, maybe I should buy a second one to give it some company? Or better yet, give it a gift card so it can buy itself another one?

This is a big tree! It's shaped and photographed very well. Ah, Celine, bring in that poor orphan tree and decorate it!!
You could leave your tree outside and put notes with all your Christmas wishes on it. Your friends and family could come by and pick a note - and get that for you for Christmas.
Just an idea.
Was that tree sprayed with spraypaint?
Kate, thanks. And I can't bring the tree in yet... we run dehumidifiers in the house, and the poor tree would die before Christmas came. Hopefully we'll bring it in here in a few days.
Crallspace, no, it's not spray painted. The tree is pretty light in color... almost blue. It didn't translate very well in the photo, so I converted it to black and white. Gives it an almost flocked look.
I posted a picture of a Christmas Tree on Hyde DP today (Dec 12th) and included a link to this one of yours.
Merry Christmas.
