Foothills Church

Foothills Church in Stayton Oregon

The non-denominational Foothills Church resides on Fern Ridge Rd. It's one of four churches all on that part of Fern Ridge Rd., all of different denominations.

That stretch also has a cemetery, mortuary, and hospital either on the road or right near. I like to think of it as one stop shopping of the living and dying sort. But, then again, I'm not exactly right in the head. ;)

Greetings from Guelph!

Interesting photo! Is this a wooden building?

I'll be back.

dsole: yeah, I wouldn't think so, either. It always reminds me of a warehouse. :)

Hi, Pat! It probably is wooden, though I haven't been close enough to it to know for sure.

It is a wood frame structure. Built in the 1980s by church members. We are outgrowing the building and hope to soon build something much bigger. In the caption for the photo it states that it is a baptist church. Formerly so, but we are now non-denominational.

Ken,

Thanks for the information. I wasn't aware it went non-denominational. I'll correct the caption accordingly.
