Road Out of Town

This bridge spans the Santiam River as the road heads south of out city limits. It isn't a long bridge... at least when going over it in a car. But I discovered it seems a lot longer when one's walking it and the darned thing lacks a sidewalk and cars are rushing very close by in a rapid manner.

That's just the sacrifice I make to take photos for this here site. ;)
