Moon Blur

Last night I was all set to take a picture of the moon. It was all pretty and stuff. So I went to get my tripod and discovered I had misplaced the little thing which attaches the camera to the tripod. Because I'm dork.
So I decided to try it anyway. It didn't work. But I do kinda like the blur I got instead.
So that's today's contribution -- a blurry photo of a moon sliver. I feel like I've really done something useful. Or not.

Interest shot -- I thought it was several time-sequence shots at first. Just camera-shake causing the blur. That probably explains why I got a double-image in my second shot of the recent lunar eclipse -- see http://ackworthborn.blogspot.com/2007/03/lunar-eclipse.html -- even imperfect shots can make an interesting picture.
hey! I really like it!!
I think it's a great shot Celine!
You know I don't have a tripod either, so when I have to do some night shots I used to lean my cam in some fixed place, as a bench or whatever. And then I use "auto-shot" (I really don't know if that's the english word fot that :S ). it's a little scarce but the result used to be quite good! I have some night shots in this way in Madrid DP. And with car's tail lights too.
Cheers! :)
What a lucky "accident"--I think it's very creative, deliberate or not!!
