Spring Blossoms

I decided to get all artsy and stuff and shoot today's photo looking up the trunk of a cute little blossoming tree. 'Cause, ya know, that's never been done before.
Or not.
Anyway, are these cherry blossoms? Some other sort of blossoms? Are they a figment of our collection imaginations? Who's to say? But they are pretty, whatever they may be.
Once again, I couldn't decide which photo to post, so click on the thumbnails below to see a few more:

Beautiful flower and beautiful photo. Oh, congrats on your 300th post. Better late than never, uh :)
I don't know if they are cherry blossoms but they sure are perty! Congrats on your 300th post. Albuquerque DP will be at 300 on April 2nd.
oh, i simply love it! good job :)
It is so nice to find a living cherry tree doing what they do and remembering how good the cherries taste. My cherry tree is over 20 years old and 90% gone (or was last year) and more will have died over the winter. It is sad that things like this do not last forever, but that is how life is. What a waste of natural resources but then something always benefits. It is a beautiful set of photographs that you too. And, by the way, I did plant a trumpet vine and a honeysuckle vine at the base of my tree in hope that it will support these two flowering vines and give the wildlife something to dream about since they can no longer steal and eat my cherries before I get to them. Thanks for this beautiful reminder of what I no longer have to enjoy.
