Steller's Jay

Steller's Jay in Stayton Oregon

This pretty little birdie was sitting on a park bench at Community Center Park the other day. I believe I've identified it correctly as a Steller's Jay (Google Images is my friend), but if anyone has better info, please let me know.

I wish I could see more of it. We have
"Blue Jays" here and I have never seen a Steller Jay before.

Abraham,

I found another photo I had taken that shows him better, though the image quality isn't great. He was fairly far away from me, and my camera wasn't up to the task. That, and I'm nowhere near as skilled as you are. Your photos are amazing.

Another view of the bird

That looks like a Steller's Jay to me. What a beautiful bird; we unfortunately don't have any of those around here.
