This gate sits next to a building housing Cartwright's Music on 3rd Avenue. I posted a side shot of the building earlier this month.
One would think I'd take a photo of the front of a building. Maybe someday.

It is an interesting picture that caused me to stop and think and try to imagine all the reasons why they do not want people to walk past the gate. I understand private property rights and all but I still wonder.
The gate leads to a very small patch of earth right next to a creek. I'm guessing it's a safety issue... don't want anyone getting hurt by falling into the water. That, and they don't want anyone wandering up the stairs, since that leads to a private door.
Looks like they don't want anyone in that's for sure.
