Bridge

Bridge in Stayton Oregon

BridgeContinuing my interest in bridges, I bring you yet another Stayton bridge. I didn't know we had so many. Anyway, this one is next a building which once housed the power company before they moved to another city. The bridge leads back to what I assume are power-related things like the water canal and... um, other stuff. I think the power station's back there somewhere. I've never been back there, so I'm not sure.

The thumbnail at right is a black and white version of the photo above.

Boy is is rusty. And surrounded by high fences. I wonder if those go down to the water level? It is a nice photograph of an old bridge that must still be usable as there are no keep off or don't cross signs.

Be brave Celine! You know what you have to do when you come to that bridge.

I wish I could get inside that old powerhouse.

It is rusty, Abraham. I love the color of the rust. I don't know if the fences go all the way down, but they might. There are warning signs around telling folks to stay out of the water.

Dave, am I allowed to walk back there? There aren't any 'no trespassing' signs, but still... I hate to go where I shouldn't.
