Delicate In Pink

I received a new camera today (a Canon Rebel XT) and only had a few minutes to take photos before it got dark, so you'll have to forgive me for the gratuitous flower macro. :)
It's a lupine in my backyard. Can I just say I am in love with my new camera? Because I am.
In other news, this here photo blog reaches its first birthday on May 30th, and I continue to be utterly stunned I've posted a photo every single day for almost a year. Whoooo.

I will have to come back and see the flower as it doesn't show up at the moment.
I read your news about the camera. I have two of them and use them every day for about 6-8 hours. Some of my photos are better than others but I love the cameras and have been using Canon since 1953.
Today is the third episode in One Day in the Life of a Robin. It is about the toilet issues -- the poop sack. Tomorrow will be the end of the series with an unforgettable set of pictures. Hope you can see them.

Nice picture and I'm envious of the camera. Is that what we call the Canon Eos 350 in Europe?
Curly, yes it is, the 350D. And thanks to both of you for the comments.
