Coming Soon To A Living Room Near You

I went wandering around the edge of a Christmas tree field on the corner of 10th Ave. and E. Pine St. yesterday, the same field I featured a year ago. After all, it makes sense to post a photo of Christmas trees in June. Doesn't it?
Anyway, the trees are a bit taller now and still a lovely sight to see whenever I pass by. And it makes me happy to see trees being grown for the specific purpose of being Christmas trees... no deforestation, and they help the environment while they're growing. Good stuff.
Below are a couple of other shots I took at the field:

Christmas trees are being replaced by artificial ones here. The live (cut down and dead as door nails) ones were always way too high or expensive and it was relatively easy for the artificial tree industry to come in and replace them. So the field you show is almost obsolete here where I live.
good to see how they've grown in twelve months
i love this photo! its really very good focusing!
