Dirk's Barber Shop
I've never been inside Dirk's Barber Shop on 3rd Ave., nor do I know anything at all about the business. But it's my favorite place on earth at the moment, if only for a small line of text. On the sheet containing the "barber hours" it says, way down at the bottom:
(Or whenever I am here)I love it. I want to go there and get my hair cut every single day (or whenever the barber is there), just because of that.

Celine, I wonder how successful Dirk is? Love his sign, also! Good capture.
Celine, do you like to have your hair cut in a barber shop - or only this particular one becasue of the sentiment on the sign?
Kate, dunno. I only noticed the shop for the first time when I took the picture. But I love the sign.
Annie, I've never had my hair cut at a barber shop before. But if I were ever tempted, I'd have to go to Dirk's because of the sign. :)
Thanks for the kind words and posting the link to the site. It was a great Air Show and I love the Sean D. Tucker performance! That little red aeroplane does amazing things. If Snoopy were to have a ship other than the Sopwith Camel, I think it would be the Pitts Special!
