For Which It Stands

I'm posting this image of an American flag in honor of the 6th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, tragedy.
May we never forget what happened, and may we remember those who gave their lives that day.

This is such a great photo--I actually thought it was a graphic until I saw the texture, and then I just stared at it for ages. :)
Thank you, Celine.
No, we for sure will never forget it.
Thank you, Celine. Nearly 700 of my fellow New Jersey residents were murdered that day, most dying in the towers, some on the planes. I started my day reading In Memoriams in my local paper for some of those who died on Sept. 11, then listened to some of the 9/11 cermonies from NYC. It's nice to know that people from outside the NY/NJ area still remember.
...and long may it wave...
Thanks Celine.
Mark.
Lovely photo of the American Flag, such clarity even the threads show.
