DP Theme Day: Bridges

Sunlight And Shadows - Jordan Bridge in Stayton Oregon

Today is this month's daily photo theme day -- bridges. As some of you may know, I've posted multiple photos of Stayton's covered bridge, the Jordan Bridge in Pioneer Park. I considered not using it for today's theme, but it's really one of the coolest visual features in Stayton, so it's what I'm posting. Live with it. ;)

I've tried to photograph it differently than I have in the past, this time from the inside of the bridge, capturing the play of the sun and shadows on the structure.

There are over 100 city daily photo blogs participating in this month's theme day. Check 'em out below:

I think the shades from frames of bridge makes this picture more interesting.

Thanks for your kind comments, everyone. Château-Gontierdailyphoto, yes, it is made of wood. It's a recreation of an old covered bridge (the original burned down).

The lighting and shadows really ehnhance the interior bridge frame. Interesting how the lighting took a blue shade in some parts.

Gwen, I think the blue hue has something to do with the blue of the water below the bridge.

Thanks for all the comments, everyone. I very much appreciate it.
