I wanted to buy a tree the other day, so I went to Yarnell Grower’s Outlet on 1st to get it. I didn’t really expect anyone in town to have this particular tree, but they had not one, but four. It was rather awesome. I didn’t take my camera into the nursery itself (I wasn’t More >

In an effort to post something not involving flowers, I went out to take photos yesterday. Needless to say, most of what I shot was of flowers, but I did manage to sneak in a few other things. Not much, though. This buildings on E. Water St. has seen better days. It used to have More >

I took this shot of the Stayton Public Library a few weeks ago, so the trees have probably filled in more since then. I haven’t been able to go out and take photos in the last handful of days, so I’m having to reach back into my photo archives a bit.

I love this old building. I’ve posted photos of it before (and here and here), but this is the first time I’ve done it with autumn-colored trees, so that makes it completely different. In related news, I’ve created a video slideshow of some of my autumn foliage photos. View it below: The leaves around town More >

Rumours Restaurant / Santiam Depot (I’m not sure exactly what’s it’s called nowadays, so let’s go with both) on 3rd Ave. got a fresh coat of paint sometime recently (it used to be blue), so of course that requires a photo. I thought I had a daytime photo of the old look, but it appears More >

I think the sign on this motorcycle shop, The Eagles Nest on 1st Ave., may mean only those on four wheels. Two-wheelers seem to get an exception.

Super photo, Celine. I like the color, too. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
