Scenes From A Radio Station

Yesterday I featured some photos from Cartwright’s Music. Ken Carwright, owner of the music shop, also runs a new community-based radio station, KENC (AM 1620) in a room next to the shop. He let me poke around in there and take some pictures.

It’s a nice setup, complete with a large window facing 3rd Ave. so passersby can look in and see what’s going on.

If you want to see the photos individually (they’ve been cropped to a square format for the mosaic), please click on the links below:

  1. I’m convinced that your pictures are the best archive of visual images of Stayton in the year 2007 that exists anywhere I know about…

    …John

  2. Love, love, LOVE your site.

I’m always on the lookout for how others capture color in combinations in the world around them. I have no idea how that might translate into keywords on google (as if it might be someone’s specialty), so it’s usually just a matter of happening upon someone’s photo here or there as I websurf. Today, it was your site, as I searched for a particular blue. Still looking (for that particular blue), but it’s been a lovely break in my day, scrolling around your site.

    Thanks.

  3. Thank you, anonymous. Your words mean a great deal to me. Good luck in your search.
