A Black-Tail Shows Off Its Black Tail - a young deer at Silver Falls State Park in Oregon

Today's photo is another from my weekend day trip to Silver Falls State Park, which is about 20 minutes away from Stayton (see also: South Falls, North Falls, and Upper North Falls).

When we first arrived and walked towards South Falls, we came upon five black-tailed deer. I tried my darnedest to get photos of them, but it kind of dark and I had to use a telephoto lens without a tripod... that equals blurry. This photo of a youngster is the best of the bunch.

Tomorrow I think I'll post one more photo from the park before I move on to other things.

That is a very nice shot! Sharpness looks fine at this size. The saturated colors work well to.
