In The Distance

Earlier this month I posted a photo of some hills outside of Stayton which can be seen from town. I wasn't very happy with the photo, as it was somewhat blurry and the color was all wrong. I had cropped out the trees in the lower part of the photo because they came out very dark.

So I decided to reshoot the photo, this time using a tripod, a polarizing filter (to get the color right), and a different lens. It's basically the same view, but the results are fairly different.

For those who care, I took this on a small street just off of the east end of E. Santiam St.
