Snow At The Cemetery

Since most of the snow seems to have melted around here, I figured I'd post snow photos once more before moving on to other things. Today's photos were taken at Lone Oak Cemetery on the corner of Fern Ridge Rd. and 3rd Ave.Be sure to tune in tomorrow for the February 1st city daily photo theme day. I'm still undecided about what I'm going to post... I'm torn between two themes. We'll see what happens.

Of the two pictures I kinda like the cemetery entrance image over the featured picture. There is something about the starkness behind the gate that is intriguing about it.
Because the tree seems to leave it unbalanced to the left to my eye in portrait perspective, I would be tempted to crop it square and center the gate.
I agree with you on the two pictures, Steve, but the landscape worked better on top than the portrait.
The gate is pretty much centered vertically already... I think the shadow to the left gives the impression that it isn't. I'm not sure about a square crop... it would cut out a lot of the tree, and I like the tree. But it might be worth exploring. Thanks.
