We still use our bridges here. I just drove over two of them last month. One is very long and the other short. I like the photography.
oldmanlincoln: we drive on most of ours, as well. This particular bridge used to be in service, but was going to be torn down and replaced, so some volunteers got together to save it by moving it to the park to be used as a footbridge. Then after a few years it accidentally burned down, and was rebuilt in the same spot, again by volunteers.
Celine, your guest photographer sure caught a lovely reflection! But, I love your topsy turvy version of a few days ago, too! What a lovely addition this sight is to the Stayton community. Glad the volunteers rebuilt it!

I love covered bridges. We don't have any here in NM but I remember them fondly from my days in New England!
