Salem First United Methodist Church

It's day four of our mini-tour of nearby Salem. Today's photo is of the church where both my maternal grandparents and aunt and uncle both were married many years ago.My grandparents married there in the 1920's. My aunt and uncle married there in the 1950's, on my grandparents' 25th wedding anniversary. I wasn't able to go inside the day I was there. Maybe someday.
For more information about the church vist their web site.

Lucky congregation! That spire is gorgeous. And I bet your family members weddings were beautiful there, too.

What a great church and wonderful family memories. i was wondering if I could use that photo for my Holy Houses blog. I show historic churches. (mostly historic). thank you, MaryBeth
Thanks, Kim. I wish I'd had the opportunity to see if we have photos of either wedding before I posted this.
MaryBeth, Thanks! Sure, you can use it, but I request a link back to staytondailyphoto.com, and credit for the image (Celine Chamberlin). I hope that's okay. Can you provide the URL of the blog?
