Deux

Today is the 2nd anniversary of Stayton Daily Photo! Woot! It's absolutely amazing to me this blog has been going for so long. Heck, I was amazed when I reached one year, so reaching two years just blows me away.
Thank you to everyone who has visited and commented over the last two years, thank you to the City Daily Photo community, and thank you to those who have contributed photos. Y'all rock.
I hope to continue the blog for some time to come, even if I have to repeat things. Again. :) Stayton is a small town, after all. As always, submissions are more than welcome (see the right-hand menu for submission info).
By the way, the above photo shows a sign on the fence surrounding the cannery on Washington St. It seemed appropriate for today.
In unrelated news, I'm a dork. I had the perfect photo opportunity yesterday but didn't even realize it until well after the fact. KATU news came by (unexpectedly) to do a story about the arson fires here in my neighborhood (my house was one of the ones hit), and it didn't even occur to me to get a photo of the news crew. See, I'm a dork. I wasn't even remotely expecting them to show up.

Hey Celine, I SAW YOU on the news tonight!! So sorry it was for the reason it was. I am praying they catch the perpetrator asap. And congrats on your 2 years of posting!
Thanks! As for the news, the reporter just kind of showed up with a cameraman... wasn't expecting it at all. My dog liked the attention, though. :)
Celine, congratulations on your 2nd anniversary. It has been a while since I have visited however I have very fond memories from your blog over these years ... I'll try to do better and visit more often.

Great photo choice for you 2nd anniversary.
Probably not a good idea to mention that KATU is channel TWO which also would have made a good 2nd anniversary picture. ;)
Just catching up and sorry I missed your anniversary. Many congratulations. Two years is a tremendous feat -one photo a day. well done. Keep it up. Your photos are always interesting.
