Stayton Public Library

Stayton Public Library in Stayton Oregon

Today between 2 and 4pm, the Stayton Public Library Foundation is hosting a 1st birthday party of the expansion which was completed last year. The photo above was used on a postcard the Foundation sent out to folks to promote the party.

I'll be at the party for at least a few minutes (gotta take some photos, of course), if the heat doesn't kill me off first. Hope to see you there.

You have a very handsome public library. That's one thing missing here in Metro Manila—good public libraries. That's the reason why our house is overflowing with books—we have to buy because there's no place to borrow. =(

That's great Celine that they used your photograph for the postcard. How rewarding! Great photo. I haven't seen the library as I don't get out to Stayton much, so appreciate your photo posting of it. Hope you had a great time at the party. I went to Walmart and shopped real slow just to enjoy the AC!

Thanks, Hilda and Jill. The library is great... the people of the town have really done a great job maintaining and expanding it to meet the town's needs.
