Summer Landscape

We've had a pretty dry summer, with only a little bit of rain once or twice in the last month or two (gosh, how is that for specifics?). That leads to a lot of brown grass, especially in the fields surrounding Stayton. The field in the foreground is next to the Public Works reservoir and pump station, while the fields in the background are farming fields. The row of trees in the middle run along either side of Fern Ridge Rd.
