This apartment building on the corner of 2nd Ave. and High St. was once known as the Jones Hotel. I love the brilliant colors on the trees on either side of the building.

Yes, more random autumn leaves for today. I can’t help it, they’re just too pretty. I’m fairly certain these were taken near near the pool in the Community Center complex, though I’m not entirely sure. I lose track sometimes.
Another autumn leaf/leaves day, this time of a lonely little leaf in a parking lot. Poor little leaf, destined as it is to spend the rest of its time on earth on the cold, hard pavement. Unless it gets blown away. Or stuck to a car. Whatever.
This makes me giggle. Jack Fiske and Gerry Aboud are both running for mayor of Stayton. These two signs, which appear to be in front of the same business, apparently take an either/or approach to the campaign. Vote for this guy! Unless you vote for the other guy! Whatever works!
