I spotted this graffiti of a pig on a mail box at an apartment complex across the street from the public high school on Locust St. the other day. I don’t know why one would choose a pig as a subject, but the curled tail is a nice touch.

This is a random window on side of the New Hope Community Church on 2nd Ave. It’s yellow. I like yellow.
I’ve posted photos of the neon sign on the Star Cinema movie theater on 3rd Ave., but I adore it, so I’m doing it again. Part of the neon is in need of repair, which isn’t surprising. That sign has been around for many decades, and is in remarkably good shape, considering its age.
I took today’s photo on W. Locust St. looking south across some train tracks into an industrial area of some sort. I have no idea what sort, but I do know I’d love to wander around in there and take pictures. There is a lot of cool stuff behind the fence.
Today’s photo was taken on the corner of W. Washington St. and Larch Ave., looking south. I think it’s part of a power canal which runs through town. If anyone has better info on it, I’d be most appreciative.

From the truly random file comes today’s photo of the back end of a really rusty truck I found parked on 3rd Ave. the other day. I like rust, and am drawn to it like a moth to a flame.
This footbridge at Pioneer Park spans the creek which runs through the park. It runs parallel to Jordan Bridge, from which I took this photo.
I took this sunset shot on the north end of Wilco Rd., looking towards a cellular tower in the middle of a farm field. And a telephone pole with wires. And a speed limit sign. And bushes. Gosh, how action-packed is this photo? Totally action-packed, I’d have to say.
The sky was rather pretty last night, so I couldn’t help but take a picture. Nothing is more beautiful than what nature offers… not that I can do it justice with my camera, but I do try.
Today is Presidents’ Day here in the United States. I didn’t happen to have a photo of a president on hand, so here’s an American flag instead. Yay. It’s my neighbor’s flag… I always like to look down the street and see it waving in the breeze.
Today’s photo is an interior shot of my favorite Stayton subject, the Stayton-Jordan Bridge at Pioneer Park. I do love that bridge.
Today is not only Valentine’s Day, but also Oregon’s 150th birthday. I tried to combine the two for today’s photo, because I do love Oregon. Yes, I am biased, and no, I don’t care.
