This tree lives just off of 3rd Ave. (it might be on E. Fir St., but maybe not). There are actually three or four of them in a row, which makes me happy. I hate to think of it being alone. As usual, I have no idea what kind of tree it is.
These plastic flower vases were near the shed at Lone Oak Cemetery when I stopped the other day to take a photo for Memorial Day. These vases are used to put flowers in so folks can place them on graves.

I took this sunset shot a few nights ago from the corner of Fern Ridge Rd. and 3rd Ave. I can’t resist a good sunset.
There are a couple of big planters in front of City Hall on 3rd Ave., and one is filled with these lovely petunias. Ooh, I think it’s time for some alliteration…
Purple and pink petunias perpetually promise precious prettiness.

Sorry about the run of flower photos. I’m just happy flowers are blooming again, so I’m kind of focused on them at the moment.
There is currently a beautiful group of clematis flowers blooming along a fence at the south end of town, between 3rd and 4th Ave., on E. Water St. It was pretty windy when I was there on Thursday, so getting photos of the darned things was difficult. Here’s one of the only ones which was [...]
This bright yellow tree (or bush, or whatever) lives at the dead end of of E. Pine St., right by the pump station. I haven’t a clue what kind of tree it is, but it’s beautiful.
I posted a sunset photo a couple of days ago, and figured I’d post one more I took that night. The sky was just too pretty to ignore.

I actually got outside for a few minutes yesterday evening, so I went to a hill on Boedigheimer Rd SE, just outside of city limits (across Highway 22) to take a few sunset photos. The sky was clouding up, so it made the sky extra pretty. I may post another shot of the sunset later [...]
We had a beautiful weekend, the kind perfect for going outside and taking pictures. Not that I was out in it, of course. Real life happened, instead. Good stuff, but still… no new photos.
