The weather’s finally taken a turn for the better, so I should hopefully be able to go out and take pictures of something or other this weekend. Dunno what as of yet.
This photo was taken at Pioneer Park. I’d have to say the predominant theme of the picture is: green, green, and oh look, green.

Guest photographer John Brandt took today’s photo of a dead tree (or part of a tree) in Wilderness Park he doesn’t expect to survive another winter. I haven’t been through that park in some time. I really need to do it again very soon. Once the temperature cools down a bit, that is.

Stayton is almost completely surrounded by country roads (the exception is the north side where Sublimity is located, not far down the road). There are a lot of scenes like the one above — trees, grass, and clouds. I took this particular shot along Kingston-Jordan Dr., just south of town, over the weekend.
