Stayton Friends Of The Library Parking Lot Book Sale
Sunday, July 19th, 2009
Yesterday the Stayton Friends Of The Library (FOL) had a book sale in the parking lot at the Community Center. The FOL needed to empty their book storage container (the blue container seen at the right side of the photo) in order to move it, so they had dozens of boxes of books set out for sale. And there were a lot of folks there to buy them, which is always a cool thing to me. It’s good to know people still love to read.
The photo at right shows the inside of the container (click on it to see it larger), after a lot of the boxes of books had been removed, and they were working on unloading more as room allowed.
By the way, hi to Greg, whom (or possibly “who”) I ran into at the sale.

I would be in 7th heaven at a sale like that! Love books! Did you buy any?
Jacob, absolutely, I always buy some books at the used book sales they put on. As a result, I have way more than I could ever find time to read.
