This reader board at Stayton Cleaners on Washington St. made me chuckle. I can’t decide if two guys named Al Erations and L. Ather are asking for folks’ laundry, or if ol’ Al wants to lather someone’s laundry all by himself.
For the curious, the two missing letters on the sign are ‘t’ and ‘e’.
This truck — not sure if it’s a dump truck or some other type — was going down the road a few days ago, so I took a picture. I can’t remember what road it was, not that it matters. It’s a truck, on a road. The end.
These mail boxes live on Regis St., near where it meets 1st Ave. I think they’re nifty.
How about a random bit of train car graffiti for today? The train is still hanging around down at the industrial area of town every time I go by. Not good, since it obviously doesn’t have much else to do. It should be hauling something somewhere.

Spenner Road is just outside of Stayton, off of Boedigheimer Rd. I took this by setting the camera on the gravel and pressing the shutter. Today’s photo is of the parking lot side of the Red Apple Chinese restaurant on 2nd Ave., next to the Post Office. I have no clue what the characters say, if anything. Maybe it’s the name of the restaurant. Dunno. I can’t just copy and paste it into Google Translate, so I’m a little lost. [...]
The Church of the Nazarene on Washington is getting a new facade. I posted a photo of the front in May of last year, and they’re making changes to area over the porch and front windows. I wonder how far the renovation will go.
