Red autumn leaves in Stayton Oregon

I feel I should warn you I’ll likely be posting a fair amount of fall leaves photos now that autumn has begun. I do it every year, so I can’t imagine this year will be any different.

I took this photo in the parking lot of the community center yesterday. Most of the trees around town are still hanging onto their leaves so far, but the weather is starting to turn, so I’m sure that will change here shortly. I’m happy to have new photo subjects, but I’m also sad to see some of the trees lose their color (not all, since Stayton stays rather green all year round). Good thing it will be back come spring.
