Wilderness Along The Water

Guest photographer John Brandt sent in today’s photo from Wilderness Park. His description:
This picture was taken this week along the Stayton Ditch in Wilderness Park. Across the ditch is Stayton’s new park along the Santiam. “You can’t get there from here” because the City still hasn’t built the bridge that we were all expecting when we bought the park property.
I’m hoping that bridge is still forthcoming, and that it will be open to the public. I think there was some question about that a while back. I really should keep up with local stuff like that better. But then I’d just forget, like I did with this, so maybe not.
