North Santiam River in autumn fall outside of Stayton Oregon

Autumn fall ferns outside of Stayton OregonGuest photographer Debbie D. Dodd sent in today’s gorgeous photo of the North Santiam River, as taken a bit south of Stayton. All those autumn trees are just beautiful.

The photo at right (click on it to see it larger) was taken in a field of ferns Debbie spotted which was growing in a shady spot near the river.

Thanks, Debbie! Your photo submissions are always appreciated.

New Area Links Section Added

In other news, I’ve added a new section to this site for area links I find useful. This includes schools, city/county links, and other community-oriented sites. I hope someone out there finds it handy.
