In Late November
This is my favorite little street bridge at the south end of 4th Ave., where it crosses a power canal. It wasn’t really all that cold the day I took this, but the barren trees make it seem like it was.

Future Foot Bridge

Guest photographer John Brandt has been documenting the start of foot bridge connecting most of Stayton to the new park along the Santiam River. It’s due to be completed here very soon. I posted a photo of this nifty red barn back on January 2nd. When I took that photo, the sky was bright blue. I figured it might be interesting to take basically the same shot with a cloudy sky, just for grins and giggles. The clouds make a big difference, I think.
