Mothra

It is my first belief the license plate in yesterday’s post was a warning. When I saw it, I thought it was cute and I took a picture. Little did I know Mothra was waiting for me a few blocks down the same road. It told me I should be afraid. Very afraid.

From the random file comes this photo of a hearse parked outside of Weddle Funeral Home on 3rd Ave. Because it was there. A hearse is an interesting looking vehicle… very distinctive. Practical yet somehow stylish. Still, I’d prefer not to ride in one until much, much later.

The 19th Annual Santa Cruise, a fundraiser for the Stayton Fire Department’s Toys For Joy program, was held on Saturday morning. I spotted this awesome license plate the other day on 3rd Ave. I don’t know what inspired it, but it may have been another license plate I saw a few minutes later on the same street just a few blocks away. I’ll post that tomorrow. That one would have me saying “uh oh” too.
