Surround Me
Saturday, December 5th, 2009It’s time once again for my favorite oak trees in town, which live behind the hospital off of 10th Ave. I caught them not long before the sun set, and the lighting was beautiful. Mother Nature did a fine job.
In other news, today a variety of Christmas-related things are happening around town — a Toys For Tots car show and breakfast at the fire department, a craft bazaar at the middle school, and the tree lighting on 3rd Ave., next to the Gardner House. I’m going to do my best to attend all three, so if you see a short, round female person with a camera and a perpetual half-asleep look on her face, that will most likely be me. Say hi. If I’m awake enough, I may say hi back.

Great picture!
Wonderful shot of a couple of my favorite local trees…Nature may have made them but your shot confirms their beauty…
Thanks to both of you. These trees are awesome. They’re one of my favorite things to photograph.
John, the only thing I did was make sure the sun was behind one of the branches and then I took the photo. Well, several photos, but this one is my favorite. Then I clicked the shutter… all auto settings.
Spectacular shot, Celine! Thank you, thank you!
