The Town Tree

This somewhat craptacular photo is of Stayton’s Christmas tree on 3rd Ave. It’s a pretty little thing, I have to say. The tree, not the photo. I might have mentioned the photo is craptacular. Click on it to see it in greater splotchy detail.

I’m happy it’s not a leaner like last year’s tree, although that one had sort of a sad puppy thing going for it.

I’ll probably post more Christmas-oriented lights tomorrow, and possibly the day after that. Gotta get it in before the big day.

Stayton is almost completely surrounded by country roads (the exception is the north side where Sublimity is located, not far down the road). There are a lot of scenes like the one above — trees, grass, and clouds. I took this particular shot along Kingston-Jordan Dr., just south of town, over the weekend.
