‘Zat You, Santa Claus?

Yesterday morning was the 19th Annual Santa Cruise at the Stayton Fire Department, a car show and breakfast benefiting Toys For Joy. I took several photos of cars and such, but haven’t gone through them yet. So instead I decided to post a celebrity — Santa Claus. It doesn’t get much bigger than that. He was doing a meet and greet with the various kids, young and old, and handing out candy canes.

Tomorrow I’ll post more from the cruise-in, and then after that I’ll have some photos I took at the holiday craft bazaar held at the middle school. I didn’t get to attend the town tree lighting, so if anyone has a photo of that you can send, that would be awesome. This is adorable — someone actually put a boat in their front yard as part of their holiday display. Frosty the Snowman has a fishing pole and presents loaded in the boat. I love it. Makes me want to buy a boat so I can copy it. I spotted this just off of 3rd Ave.
