This is really getting ridiculous. It snowed again yesterday in the hills just outside of town. It is April, right? Because I’m not so sure. Guest photographer Denny Barnes sent in today’s photos (be sure to click on the one at right to see it larger). His description (written yesterday): My Daffodils are finally trying

Today’s photo is another from the spring snowfall we had last week. This sidewalk runs in front of a neighbor’s house… there was about three inches of snow on the ground at the time. I liked the snow on the tips of the fence boards. This may or may not be the last snow photo.

More snow photos! Sure, the snow’s all melted outside, but it continues to live on in photos. And will post snow photos for as long as I think I can get away with it. Today’s photo was taken by frequent guest photographer, Jim Mullholand. This lovely blanket of snow was photographed near the close by

The snow which fell over a couple of days ago has pretty much melted (we actually had sun yesterday, which was welcome but strange), but that won’t stop me from posting photos of it. This was the view off of Fern Ridge Rd., looking out into a random field. Highway 22 runs along the back

Yesterday was weird. We had rain, rain/snow, snow, sun, hail, sun, hail, and sun. The above photo was taken during the snow part. It didn’t stick, but we had enough hail later to make you think it did. I think Mother Nature’s trying to get her last winter kicks in before spring is officially here.

My brother, Craig, was at nearby Silver Falls State Park this week, and he snapped this pretty photo of the snow. I like pretty photos of snow.

We have a photo from guest photographer Denny Barnes of the snowfall we had on Tuesday. He lives a little bit outside of Stayton, and had some serious rain and snow. His description: We had 1.25 inches of rain before it started to snow and then we got 6 inches of snow in three hours.
